Swim Instuctor / Camp Counselor
SLV Swim Center is a great place to work and we welcome all who are interested to apply.
Our season runs from April through October.
We ask for a two day a week minimum commitment, you get to choose the days!
We run lessons Mondays through Thursdays and Saturdays.
Camps, family swims, movies nights and pool rentals take place on Fridays and Sundays.
You must be punctual, like kids, have lots of patience, enjoy swimming, and is a fast learner.

JOB SUMMARY:
FIrst you will go through taining to be able to teach swimmers ranging in age and ability.
Our approach is safety first and making every class fun!
Most work will be done with kids ranging in age from 2-7 years old,
but some kids are from 6months old through 14.
You will be responsible for the safety and the quality of each class.
You will need to keep a certain pace and keep to swim curriculum while making the class fun and enjoyable. You will be expected to work 2-7 hours per shift in the pool,
arrive at least 15 minutes before your shift to prep your station,
as well as staying 15 minutes after your last class to clean up your station.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
This job is ideal for people looking for part time, seasonal work.
You need to be availble to work for a minimum of two days a week.
Commitment to your schedule is very important, your students rely on you to show up to teach them.
No swim teaching experience is required, but you must have some experience working with kids.
Ability to interact well with various age groups.
Ability to get along well with other staff members.
Ability to multitask.
Able to communicate in a professional and positive manner with clients.
You must be punctual and have good time management.
Competitive Pay, starting at $15-$25 Depending on expeience
